Essentials Skills
And now, here I am today. At Luminis Health, I have had the incredible opportunity to gain a fresh perspective on education and development, working with amazing people to create training that truly works. As much as I value what I do and love this role, I will admit I still miss that moment when I am training face to face and you see that light bulb go on. There is nothing more rewarding.
As part of the Essential Skills Team, I help clinical and non clinical staff unlock their potential, especially when it comes to Epic EMR workflows. I design eLearnings and interactive courses using Adobe Captivate and other training development tools, ensuring learning is engaging, modern, and aligned with real world needs.
I collaborate closely with leadership and Clinical Education to ensure training reflects real world workflows, not just what appears on a slide deck. A major focus of my role is supporting teams in mastering Epic, navigating compliance updates, and embracing broader educational theory, supporting efforts within the Essential Skills Team and across the organization.

Training Fundamentals - Understanding ADDIE
I developed this training program for the Essential Skills Team and organizational leadership to support professional growth and strengthen modern learning development practices. The session focused on aligning adult learning theory with our educational objectives through the ADDIE Model of Learning. Covering both digital learning strategies and a broader modern learning approach, the program provided practical tools to help teams design, deliver, and evaluate effective, learner centered training experiences.
